Our portal is created to provide a convenient platform for searching tutors and
conducting individual lessions of various subjects.

We'll help you to register and give the information about your experience and price for lessons.

You also may register by yourself using tutorial provided below:

1) Start the registration here

1.1) In this field give us your Name (*Имя), Login that you will use in our system (*Логин), your e-mail (*Email).

Next to fields are Password (*Пароль) and Password Check (*Подтверждение)

1.2) specify the type of profile as "Online tutor" (conducting classes remotely).

1.3) Fill out our registration form. Fields:

Ваш город / City - enter the city you live in

- Ваша страна / Your country- select your country of residence

День рождения / Birthday - if you want you may enter date of your birthday (not required)

Ваш пол / Gender - select your gender

Стоимость занятия / Cost of lesson- the cost of one lesson, please indicate the price in rubles or in US dollars

Стоимость консультации / Cost of consultation - if you want to give customers short consultations (with a duration of consultation, for example, 5-15 minutes), you may enter the cost of one consultation in this field (not required)

Способ оплаты 1, 2 / Payment System - select one or two most appropriate payment systems for making payments for lessons by your students (if you want to use more than two payment systems, please, put this information to the "Additional Information" field)

Мобильный телефон / Mobile phone - if you want, you may specify your mobile phone number here for your clients (not required)

Логин Скайп / Skype Login - it's possible to use our website video conference for making videocalls, but in case it's more comfortable for you to use Skype, enter your username in this field (not required)

Образование / Educaion - you may specify the name of your institute of higher education (preferably corresponding to your subject of tutoring) (not required)

Дополнительно / Additional information - here you may add information about your professional experience, your special teaching methods, specialization on preparation for special examinations and tests, etc. (not required)

Уровень ученика / Student's level - you can determine minimum student's level of knowledge (for example, has no value / base / above average) if teaching lower level student is not comfortable. This field is more suitable for teachers - native speakers who have difficulty with online training to start with a basic level (not required)

After application consideration you will receive an e-mail with the notice of registration, after which you will be able to use the portal.


How to use Selfstudy.Pro


1) After logging in you will find a list of groups. Choose and become a member of all groups that are suitable for you (for example - "English"). Click on the name or image of the group and then click on ("Enter").

If we don't have yet a group for the subject that you are teaching, please send us an e-mail to Этот e-mail адрес защищен от спам-ботов, для его просмотра у Вас должен быть включен Javascript . We'll create a new group for you.

2) Create the online wallet for making payments (like "Paypal", "Webmoney" or "Yandex.Money").

3) Check sometimes messages at your profile page and your e-mail to see if there are requests from students.

Use Skype (Windows.messenger) to communicate with your clients. Or you may use our online chat / video chat that doesn't require installing any additional software.

5) You negotiate all the conditions of your work (cost, length of lessons, payment methods) with your clients by yourself. We recommend you to do 45 minutes lessons and 5-15 minutes long brief consultations. We suggest you to ask you clients to pay in advance.

You can use several ways to communicate with students on the site:

- Chat / video chat (after authorization you may find this button
in the up-right corner of all pages)

- Private message to the user (the button "Send" at the profile page of user that you want to write to)

- Direct Connection (video) from the site's users / students (click "Sharing"
at profile page of user that you want to call, be sure that user you are connecting is waiting for your request)
